Alameda Point Antique Faire
Updated: Jul 12, 2019
Every month, on the first weekend of the month I indulge in my love of rummaging through stuff, by way of the Alameda Antique Fair. I feed the second-hand shopping beast inside of me with a sea of other folks who also feel butterflies while rummaging through other peoples old stuff. What can I say? I just love stuff. It can be current stuff, or stuff from a past life, or stuff people just don't know what to do with anymore, or stuff that needs a home. All stuff is created equal...okay maybe not this blue ceramic cat who I SWEAR was giving me the side eye. He is clearly a notch above all the stuff.

The Alameda Point Antiques Faire is the largest antique show in Northern California. Held on the 1st Sunday of every month, the Faire boasts over 800 Dealer booths and all items sold are 20 years old or older. I'm telling you this fair is the ultimate place to shop for amazing vintage and antique home decorations, clothing, furniture, jewelry, art, pottery, books & all the knick-knacks you can imagine. From vintage salt and pepper shakers to the above-mentioned cat, animal shaped cookie jars, pocket knives with bone inlay, wooden toys, She-ra action figuers, old street signs, metal school desks, roller skates that look like sneakers, and roller blades that look like a 1997 comeback. You name it they've got it.
Plus they've got a pretty amazing selection of food trucks at either end to keep you fat and happy while you shop.
But hands down my favorite thing about this fair is the clothes! There are tons of vintage clothes and tons of folks with amazing style looking for vintage clothes. Check out these cool locals and their amazing finds below!
If you're in the area, meet me at the fair next month! Schedule your personal shopping appointment for August 4th. We'll shop and laugh and eat until we can't stand up anymore. See you there!
